Hi! I am a 20 year old girl from California.
Former chubster, aspiring fit nurse! I aim to live a healthy, fit, and happy lifestyle :)
This blog serves as my own motivation, and hopefully it can start motivating someone else as well!
Height: 5'6
Largest: 165-170 lbs. I squeezed into size 12 pants.
Current: Size 8 pants fit comfortably
Goal: I'll be ecstatic when I'm a size 4 :)
Normally I’d be self conscious or stop earlier, but I was just so into it I felt like I had to keep going! I thought, “no one can see my bare butt so I don’t give a FUCK! Keep going!” My medium size leggings are getting a bit roomy for me now too!
It’s wonderful. Though, I’ll need to be careful of what underwear I wear from now on! Smaller sizes perhaps? Yay!
@8 months ago with 2 notesI beat my laziness this morning and got my butt to the gym, I feel like I’m starting to get real results! I should be posting progress pictures very soon :)
I’ve realized I love getting up early, even though while i’m in the process of getting up I hate it. It makes the day seem so much longer and more productive! I’m about to make myself some tea before I shower and get ready for work.
Have a lovely, healthy day everyone!
@8 months ago with 2 notesSo, I finally went back to my yoga place. My favorite kind is Bikram yoga, its a series of 26 postures in a 100 °F room…(I might be off with the temperature, but its HOT!) I was a little nervous since its been so long since I’ve even done regular yoga. I didn’t want to feel light headed or too tired during the class, and guess what? I didn’t! I made it through through almost ALL of the postures quite nicely, I guess all the cardio at the gym has really built up my endurance. Anyway, I always forget how good I feel afterwards. I love how much I sweat because it makes me really feel as if I’ve done an intense workout— and I have!
I’m planning to make this a regular part of my workouts now, it’s good to switch things up and I can definitely use the extra stretching and toning yoga provides!

Ok, so to some people this might not be thaaat big of a deal, but I used to be so slow and lazy, that I could barely drag my chunky butt a mile in 15 or 20 minutes (15 was on a GOOD day). And tonight, I finished up my workout with a mile run in 9 minutes and 4 seconds!! WooHooo. I felt sooo good during my workout, definite endorphin rush!! Even now my happiness is still beaming. And nothing has really changed in my daily life to even cause these many feel good feelings. lol. How will I get to sleep with all this happy energy!?
I hope all of you are doing wonderfully :)
@9 months ago with 3 notesI want those legs!
